Dreamfit given Heads Up from EmbroidMe Community Fund

Shenton Park, disability engineering not for profit group,  Dreamfit has been awarded over $1,600 of headwear and pens from the EmbroidMe Community Fund, through EmbroidMe Perth CBD.

The new products will be given to the Dreamfit volunteers who provide support at Dreamfit’s monthly events. The Dreamfit Foundation specialises in disability engineering and their newly launched Recreation Program is providing opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in some unique leisure opportunities for free.

It was a fantastic surprise to receive the EmbroidMe Community Fund Grant. During our recreation days, as we increase the number of participants it’s important to clearly identify our staff and volunteers.  It also helps build our brand recognition in the community and as a not-for-profit that’s vital in building better relationships and getting our vision out there.” says Dreamfit CEO Darren Lomman.

Presented by Ashley Whitworth, owner of EmbroidMe Perth CBD, " I was really pleased that Darren and the team were selected by the judging panel in Sydney for the award. Dreamfit are an organisation that brings joy to people with disabilities and their families."

About the EmbroidMe Community Fund

Looking to contribute to a sector that has been under increased financial pressure since the “GFC”, EmbroidMe believes that by offering a central fund and inviting applications from a wide range of Not for Profit community programmes, charities and clubs, a number of projects in all states may be supported with branded apparel and promotional products.

Funded from profits, the 35 contributing Australian EmbroidMe stores believe in supporting and engaging with community projects, both local and national and will be offering goods and services valued in excess of $25,000. The EmbroidMe Community Fund aims to deliver a fair means of assessment and distribution to needy causes that could use a little extra help to raise awareness of their organisation and Get Noticed!

The local EmbroidMe  is issued a grant to cover the cost of goods and they supply the decoration free of charge to add real value for the awarded organisation.
